More Choices, Inc. is in a strong position to establish the First Tee Chapter in Oakland. Our goal is to
launch The First Tee of Oakland by June 2008. We will serve over 230 children, youth, and families.
The focus is to impact the lives of young people by providing access to golf facilities and life-enhancing
skills i.e. nutritional health and physical fitness that promotes a healthy life style through the game of golf.
The First Tee is supported of five of the world's leading golf organizations - the PGA of America, Ladies
Professional Golf Association, Augusta National Golf Club, PGA TOUR and the U.S. Golf Association.
Most importantly, The First Tee, has garnering the unprecedented support of the golf industry and other,
including counties and city that have donated land for the propose of creating The First Tee golf-learning
facilities. Lake Chabot, Metropolitan and Montclair are the venues in the City of Oakland for the future
First Tee of Oakland. Our partners are The City of Oakland Parks & Rec. OUSD, local businesses,

The First Tee expects to have 250 dedicated First Tee golf facilities across the U.S. A., providing children with the First Tee Life Skills & Golf Experiences. This goal is
in alignment with the mission of More Choices Inc. We seek to expand access and equity for underrepresented and minority children in the Oakland metropolitan area.
We plan to partner with local golf facilities to sponsor First Tee Jr. Golf experiences for 2500 children within the next ten years.

the extraordinary commitment of our Board of Trustees, staff, and volunteer. Combined with the local golf facilities managers, businesses, organizations and political
